Master machinist at work in the PDC Precision Technologies shop

About PDC Precision Technologies

Built by a Machinist. Run by a Machinist.

25 years behind the spindle. One standard: perfect.

The PDC Story

PDC Precision Technologies was founded on a simple premise: a machine shop run by someone who actually machines parts produces better parts. Not managed from an office. Not delegated down a chain. Built by a Master Machinist who has spent 25 years at the controls.

Our founder has run precision machining operations generating $30 million a year — managing equipment, people, processes, and quality systems at scale. That experience doesn't just inform how we run the shop. It defines what we're willing to accept off the machine.

PDC is based in Knoxville, Tennessee. We machine aluminum, steel, and plastics for customers who can't afford a bad part. Aerospace. Defense. Industrial. If the tolerance matters, we're the shop you call.

How We Work

Tolerance is non-negotiable

We hold the tolerance on the print. Not close. Not within reason. On the print. If we can't hold it, we say so before we cut — not after.

The machinist is accountable

Every part that comes off our machines was set up and inspected by someone who cares about the outcome. No handoffs to someone who doesn't know the job.

Fast quotes, honest answers

We review your print and give you a real answer fast. If there's a problem with the design or the tolerance, we'll tell you — because catching it before we cut saves everyone time.

Prototype to production, same standard

We don't run prototypes loose and tighten up for production. The first part and the thousandth part are held to the same standard.
